PURPOSE:To uniformize the particle size of a primarily dehydrated cake to optimize the particle size distribution thereof, by making it possible to easily adjust the angle of inclination of a drum, the rotation of a grinding blade or drum, the supply amount of ash or the like. CONSTITUTION:A primarily dehydrated cake is supplied into a drum 21 from a cake chute 24 and ash (dry powder or dehydration aid) is supplied into the drum 21 through an ash chute 49 and an ash conveyor 23. The dehydrated cake is dehydrated simultaneously with grinding by a grinding blade 22 and the ash is adhered to the conventional surface and a new ground surface of the cake to successively reduce the size of the cake and, further, the cake receives particle pulverizing and uniformizing action by the next blade 62. The drum 21 is adjusted by a unit 39 so that the inclination thereof becomes low on the side of a chute 48 and the dehydrated cake is disintegrated against said inclination and the rotary direction of the drum 21 by the blade 62 to be formed into an ash adhered granulated cake. The granulated dehydrated cake is discharged out of the machine through the chute 48.
