PURPOSE:To improve the operability and to decrease the sense of disorder by assigning the same as or similar to the display of the command key of a code to be absorbed by other remote control transmitter to the command key assigning the absorbed code. CONSTITUTION:A command key 3b is operated for prescribed number of times at each key of the arrangement corresponding to the command key 3b of other remote control transmitter at the absorption and the same as or the similar to the display is called from a CGROM and displayed, the display data and the code data are stored in an EPROM as a pair. As a result, after the code absorption switch 4 is turned off, the absorbed mode is selected and operated by the mode key 1, then the display of the command key group 3 of the color liquid crystal touch panel is started, and the display of the command key is arranged and displayed in the order corresponding to the arrangement of the command key of other remote control transmitter to be absorbed. Since any key display is applied to the key display not assigned with the absorption code, no troublesome operation is offered.
