摘要 PURPOSE:To pelletize chromium ore under adequate conditions by controlling premixing moisture, binder compounding ratio and raw material grain size so that the nucleation rate expressed by the specific equation attains a specific value at the time of pelletizing the chromium ore. CONSTITUTION:The premixing moisture, binder compounding ratio and quantity of -44mu in the raw material are so controlled that the pan pelletizer nucleation rate Nm defined by the equation attains 60-90 at the time of producing the pellets from the chromium ore. In the equation, A=M=(7+B), M: premixing moisture % (7-13%), B: compounding ratio % (1-4%) of the binder (bentonite), C=S-70, S: ratio % (70-90%) of -44mu in the raw material. The adequate amt. of the costly bentonite is thereby determined and the excellent pellets having high economic efficiency is obtd.
