PURPOSE:To simplify a power source circuit and wiring process, by a method wherein the title motor is constituted of a moving oscillator consisting of an oscillating piece and a fixed contactor, in which a contacting piece is fixed. CONSTITUTION:A linear motor is constituted of a moving piece, consisting of an oscillating piece 10, and a fixed piece, consisting of a contact piece 20. The moving oscillator 10 is constituted of an upper electrostrictive element 11 and an elastic body 12, contacted with the lower part of the upper electrostrictive element 11, and is placed on the fixed contact piece 20 to contact the lower surface (interface) 13 thereof with the flat guide surface 21 of the contact piece 20. The fixed contact piece 20 receives the moving reaction of the moving oscillator 10 and performs the role of a rail. According to this method, the moving oscillator itself may be advanced straightly into the extending direction of the fixed contact piece 20 by oscillation wave (stationary wave) generated in the interface 13 by a cycle voltage applied on the electrostrictive element 11 of the moving oscillator 10. |
