PURPOSE:To eliminate looseness, tension and breakage of paper, by a method wherein the amounts of angular displacement of respective rolls are detected with respect to the drier of respective rolls sectional drive to correct them in the minor loop of a motor controller. CONSTITUTION:A roll in a drier section, in which the fluctuation of the speed thereof is small, is driven by a master motor 51 while the other rolls are driven by a helper motor 5. A speed detector 8 and a displacement angle detecter 7 are connected to the shaft of the helper motor 5. The speed reference 15 of respective rolls is provided with a given draw difference between the other drier section from a line speed reference by a draw regulator and, further, the speed reference 15 is compared with an actual speed feedback signal from the speed detector 6 through a speed regulator 10 for minute adjustment to obtain a current reference 16 which effects speed control. A detected displacement angle is added to a current minor loop as the correction amount epsilon obtained through a transducer 13 or the like and, thus, the driving of the motor 5 is controlled. |
