<p>PURPOSE:To chemically adsorb a malodorous component, by impregnating molded activated carbon with chemical liquids different in physical properties for chemically adsorbing many kinds of malodorous components and providing a plurality of chemical liquid impregnated layers to form a chemical liquid multilayer impregnated molded activated carbon. CONSTITUTION:A layer 1 impregnated with a chemical liquid A is set to the bottommost part, and a non-impregnated layer 2 composed of untreated activated carbon and a layer 3 impregnated with a chemical liquid B are successively provided to constitute multilayer molded activated carbon 4 impregnated with the chemical liquids A, B. In impregnating molded activated carbon with the chemical liquids in a multilayer form, two kinds of liquid layers, that is, an aqueous solution layer and a non-aqueous solution layer not dissolving each other are formed and the heights of the respective liquid layers are matched with the heights of the impregnated layers. Since the molded activated carbon is impregnated with plural kinds of the chemical liquids, even a malodorous component hard to adsorb is adsorbed and deodorized corresponding to the characteristics of the impregnated chemical liquids.</p> |
