DIGITAL TELEPHONE SWITCHING EXCHANGE, PARTICULARLY FOR PRIVATE SYSTEMS (PABX)

A digital telephone switching exchange, particularly for private systems (PABX), characterized in that it comprises one or more data processing units (UE1...., UEK), using a data processing operating system, which can be interrogated by means of data terminals linked to digital lines of the same PABX. Interface means (PCM-I) are provided as to allow the asynchronous transmission way of said data terminals to be compatible with the synchronous transmission mode of the digital telephone switching exchanges.
