摘要 PURPOSE:To detect the drift angle of a work at its clamping time automatically ad correctly by calculating the drift angle of a work base on the ratio of the difference in positional detection values by a comparing means to the distance between image pick-up means. CONSTITUTION:After completion of the clamping of work W a 1st camera 13 and 2nd camera 15 are respectively pick up the image of the end edge of the work W. Now, the line sensors 17, 17 of both cameras 13, 15 are set coincident with or in parallel to a working reference line A at their starting points. The distance L between both line sensors 17, 17 is set in advance as well. The positions Y1, Y2 of the end edge of the work W are found from the image pick-up signal of each line sensor 17, 17. A drift angle theta is then calculated by an equation theta=tan<-1>(Y1-Y2)/L and the drift angle is given to the NC console at the machine side and utilized as the data for correcting the inclination of the work W.
