PURPOSE:To always perform a normal step operation, by stopping a power up circuit compulsorily by detecting the steep change of a direction signal in the travel direction of a carriage by a differentiation circuit, and measuring again the time interval (step rate) of an external step signal, etc. CONSTITUTION:The direction signal 19 that is a travel direction command at the time of traveling the carriage through a stepping motor 17 is latched at a latch circuit 20 corresponding to the external step signal. When the latch output changes due to the step change of the direction signal,the fact is detected at the differentiation circuit 21, and furthermore, the measurement of the step rate by a step measuring circuit 13 is restarted, and the motor 17 is controlled by a corresponding internal step pulse. Therefore, it is possible to prevent mis- stepping from being generated even for a step instruction by which the settling time of the stepping motor is neglected, and to always, obtain the normal step operation. |
