What is described is a fitting for a tiltable and parallel-sidetrackable horizontal sliding wing of windows, doors or the like, with lower setting-out devices 7 which engage on the wing 3 and are mounted pivotably on a vertical plane and which are each carried by a running carriage 12 which is guided movably sideways on a running rail 9 arranged parallel to the plane of the fixed frame 1. The engagement points of the setting-out device 7 on the wing 3 are constantly, that is to say both in the closing position and in the parallel-sidetracked position of the latter, arranged in front of the plane of the fixed frame 1. The wing 3, during its displacement out of the closing plane into the parallel-sidetracking plane, is raised to a limited extent relative to the running rail 9 by the setting-out devices 7. The setting-out devices 7 are arranged laterally next to the two vertical wing spars, on the whole in front of the end face of the fixed frame facing the room. Each of the setting-out devices 7 has a setting-out arm 10, guided displaceably with its upper end along the vertical wing spar, and a supporting link 11 arranged between the setting-out arm 10 and the wing 3, the supporting link 11 being provided solely with rotary joints 19 and 20.
