A drawer-containing cabinet suitable in particular for chemist's shops is disclosed. Said cabinet has a frame comprising vertical columns and horizontal supports, and drawers for articles to be stored in the cabinet, which are guided in horizontal running rails in such a way that they can be pushed in and pulled out. Said cabinet is subdivided into modules to be placed one on top of the other. At the upper end of the modules there are situated rails running in the push-in direction of the drawers, whereas at the lower end of each module there are arranged rotatably mounted rollers capable of travelling along these rails, in order to permit assembly of the modules from the front.
