A plastic seal is applied (in)directly to the neck of a bottle closed off with a diaphragm of film which can be punctured. Part of the seal has a spout and a cover over this; at least one part is held in an upper position to guarantee the contents by means of a safety device. This latter part can only be moved down for the contents to be used when that device has been removed or broken; and one of the parts can break through the diaphragm/film (in)directly. In an example of a screw-top seal the bottle has a top cap hinged by a connecting film to a screw underpart which screws onto an intermediate part and thence onto the screw neck. A film in between the bottleneck and intermediate part and is glued or welded on. This part has a sharp point above the film, but when the bottle is to be opened the top cap is pressed down. By this action, the bottom of the incorporated spout depresses the point through the film and then presses the film downwards. The spout still remains closed by the top cap centre. The guarantee band is connected to the intermediate part by a fracture line and has a grip which enables the band to be torn off; only then can the contents be used.
