PURPOSE:To keep the replenishing amount of toner constant in long-term use by providing an elastic member which strikes a toner replenishment roller due to elastic displacing force when the toner replenishment roller faces a faset cut in D-shape and which removes toner attaching to the faset. CONSTITUTION:In replenishing toner, a shaft 20 rotates to rotate the toner replenishment roller 18. The tip of the elastic member 21 abuts on the outer periphery of the toner replenishment roller to bent. When the roller further rotates and the tip of the elastic member faces the D-cut face, resiliency due to the elastic displacement of the tip of the elastic member since the replenishment roller 18 is rotating, consecutively, the tip of the elastic member acts to strike a part of flat face. Hence the overall toner replenishment roller 18 vibrates, whereby the toner attaching to the D-cut face scatters. A fresh toner carries on the D-cut face and replenished from a toner replenishment opening 23. Thus a constant amount of toner can be always replenished to keep an image density constant.
