Construction of belt with teeth on one side

First polymeric material in a non cured form with reinforcing fibre therein is disposed about a grooved drum and subjected to heat and pressure to force the material toward the drum and into the groove to form teeth, with the drum and material force cooled before the material has time to completelymletl cure. A second polymeric material in non cured form is disposed about the first material on the drum and the assembly subjected to heat and pressure to completeert the formation of the teeth and complete the cure of the first and second material. Pref. first material and the drum are force cooled by immersion in a water bath.
