PURPOSE:To obtain a yellow toner which has a good spectral characteristic, high transparency, stability to heat and light and good dispersibility in a binder resin by incorporating a compd. classified as C.I. Solvent Yellow 93 into the titled toner. CONSTITUTION:This toner is the yellow toner for color electrophotography contg. the compd. classified as C.I. Solvent Yellow 93. The constitutional formula of the compd. classified as C.I. Solvent Yellow 93 to be used is unknown but an example of its tradenames is 'Macroles Yellow 3G (produced by Bayer). The amt. of the coloring agent to be added is preferably 0.1-10pts.wt., more particularly preferably 0.2-2.0pts.wt. per 100pts.wt. binder resin. All the characteristics required for the color toner are thereby satisfied. |
