The wheelchair comprises a vertically adjustable seat surface (10) whose carriage is supported on two lateral rear wheels (16), acting as drive wheels, and on two lateral, smaller front wheels (14) in each case mounted in a wheel fork (20) pivotable about upwardly projecting axes. This wheel fork (20) is arranged at the bottom end of an inner control head tube (22), which is introduced vertically adjustably into an outer control head tube (31) secured to the carriage. The inner control head tube (22) is equipped with at least one radial threaded bore, and the outer control head tube (31) is equipped with several radial through-holes (34), which are arranged at distances one behind the other along the tube axis and through which is releasably introduced a securing arrangement (32) engaging in the inner control head tube (22). <IMAGE> |
