PURPOSE:To display that a subscriber is calling to a caller by selecting the propriety of the execution of a call waiting function by a caller subscriber to the incoming call during the calling. CONSTITUTION:A call waiting CW selecting means 200 displays that a call comes in newly, to a subscriber 8a during the calling in which a qualification is given by a CW function 100 beforehand. Thereafter, a prescribed operation executed by the subscriber 8a in the time specified beforehand is identified and the propriety of the execution of the function 100 is selected. When the subscriber 8a executes the hooking once within a prescribed time, the CW selecting means 200 judges that the subscriber 8a selects the execution of the CW function 100. When the subscriber 8a executes the hooking two times, the CW selecting means 200 judges that the subscriber 8a rejects the execution of the CW function 100 and an exchange 1 executes the calling processing of the incoming call during the calling. As the result, the caller of the incoming call during the calling judges that the caller subscriber 8a is calling and tries the re-calling thereafter.
