PURPOSE:To attain satisfactory development of black color by combining a specific blue-developing coupler and a yellow to a red developing coupler. CONSTITUTION:In a photofixing thermosensitive recording medium having a photofixing thermosensitive recording layer composed mainly of diazonium salt and couplers provided on a base, at least one kind of compound selected from formula I as a blue developing coupler, and at least one kind of compound selected from formula II as a yellow to red developing coupler are added to a recording layer. As diazonium salt, for instance 4-N, N-dimethylaminobenzene diazonium salt and others are named. The blue developing coupler used is for instance, naphtol AS, and yellow to red developing coupler is for instance imidasole. The photofixing thermosensitive recording layer is constituted by adding diazonium salt, at least two kinds of coupler and a basic material if necessary to a single layer, or adding diazonium salt and couplers divided by into at least two layers. |
