<p>The displacable cradle type holder is supported on two diagonally opposite horizontal pillars of the press, via is not >2 diagonally opposite lugs contacting the pillars. The upper lug is fitted with a slide shoe with a circle section sliding surface contacting the inner part of the surface of the upper pillar, whilst the lower lug is fitted with two shoes at right angles to each other contacting the lower pillar at the top and the inside, each shoe having a circular section sliding contact surface with the pillar. The vertical shoes are free to move vertically in respect of the relevant lug and the horizontal ones to move horizontally. The design assures that the cradle stays aligned during thermal dimensional changes and prevents the building up of stresses in it.</p> |
