This apparatus is of the type comprising two arms or branches 1, 2 equipped at their free ends with crosspieces 4, 5 bearing on the ground, one 2 of the arms being fastened to an upper piece 3 linking the two arms 1, 2 whilst the other arm 1 is articulated to this piece 3. In the piece 3 to which the two arms 1, 2 are attached is provided a locking device which fastens the removable arm 1 of the apparatus both when it is open in the operating position and when it is closed with a view to being transported. <IMAGE>
