PURPOSE:To eliminate the necessity for providing a reinforcing stay, by forming a thickness padded part inside the front surface of an oil pan while providing drilled holes penetrating through reinforcing partitions from the front surface of the oil pan further closing an outer end part of the drilled hole by a blocking member and respectively providing an oil strainer in an internal end part of said drilled hole and a vertically drilled hole in the thickness padded part. CONSTITUTION:An oil pan 1, molded by casting, integrally forms reinforcing partitions 2A-2C in a lateral direction, and a drilled hole 5, which almost horizontally extends penetrating through the reinforcing partitions 2A-2C from a front surface forming a thickness padded part 4, blocks the external end part by a blocking member 6. While an oil strainer 7 is provided in the internal end part of said drilled hole 5. And a vertically drilled hole 8, serving for an oil derivation path extending to the upper from the internal end part of the drilled hole 5 so as to connect with an oil pump provided to be arranged in the outside, is provided in the thickness padded part 4 in the internal surface of the oil pan 1. Accordingly, the oil pan 1, directly mounting the oil strainer 7 to the internal surface of the oil pan 1, eliminates the necessity for providing a vibro-isolating reinforcing stay for preventing a resonance.
