摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To prevent the detection error of a touch position that is caused by the influence of the electromagnetic waves or static electricity given from a CRT, by eliminating said influence in such a case where a touch panel is used at the front of the CRT. CONSTITUTION:When a finger touch is given to a touch panel in a state where the high frequency voltage is impressed from an oscillator 7, the current i1 and i2 flow via an earth capacity 13 of a human body to produce potentials Ea, Eb, and Eo. These potentials are detected by a voltage detector and calculated by a computing element to decide a touch position in the X axis direction. A touch position of the Y axis direction is also decided in the same way. The touch panel set on the entire surface of a CRT 14 receives the influence of the electrostatic waves or static electricity given from the CRT 14. This influence can be eleininated through an LC parallel resonance circuit 17 connected to a conductive layer 15. At the same time, the leakage of a high frequency current caused by the oscillator 7 can be avoided.</p>
