PURPOSE:To impart an appropriate ink releasability to an addition silicone rubber surface, by a method wherein an addition silicone gel prepared by substituting an active group for one inert end group of a non-reactive silicone oil is added by a specific amount to an addition silicone rubber containing no non-lipophilic substance. CONSTITUTION:The presence of a slight amount of a non-lipophilic substance on the surface of an addition silicone rubber enables the balance of the ink transfer properties from a plate to the addition silicone rubber and that from the addition silicone rubber to a body to be printed. As the non-lipophilic substance, used is an addition silicone gel prepared by substituting an active group such as vinyl group and hydroxyl group for one inert end group of a non- reactive silicone oil such as dimethyl polysiloxane, metylphenyl polysiloxane, and hydroxymethyl polysiloxane. The addition silicone gel is suitably added 15-30 wt%, whereby a rubber hardness of 57-50 deg. (JIS C) is obtained with use of the addition silicone rubber of 65 deg. rubber hardness (JIS C). |
