PURPOSE:To save toner and transfer paper regardless of an error in user's copy setting by outputting a driving signal to an electrostatic discharging means by a controller even in copying operation and discharging the photosensitive surface of a photosensitive body electrostatically. CONSTITUTION:The transfer paper 5 is fed to the photosensitive body 1 by a paper feeding means 6 and toner transfer is carried out as much as a specific setting such as a copy quantity by an electrostatic charging means 2, an electrostatic discharging means 3, etc. When a user notices the error in setting and operates a copy setting reset switch 4 before or after the paper feeding means 6 is driven to output a reset signal, the controller 7 outputs the driving signal to the electrostatic discharging means 3 even in copying operation to discharge the photosensitive surface of the photosensitive body 1 electrostatically. |
