The foams, for use as insulating coatings in building, are made by (a) forming a liquid component from a mixt. of different polyols and active hydrogen cpds., together with varying amounts of catalysts, foaming agents, foam stabilisers and opt. fire retardants and fillers; (b) forming a second liquid component of various polyisocyanates from isocyanates derived from phosgenation of polyamines from aniline-HCHO condensn.; (c) mixing both components with incorporation of usual catalysts, tert-amines and metal salts, and (d) applying the mixt. by spraying to the object to be coated.
