PURPOSE:To prevent a product from being inversely contained in a magazine by visual inspection outside the magazine by a method wherein side index parts are unevenly formed on the protrusions from a package of tab hanging leads. CONSTITUTION:An MSPIC 1 is provided with tab hanging leads 9 protruding from two sides of outer frame 7 connecting to the central part of a dam 6 and further extending to a tab 8 to be hung on the leads 9. After forming a package 13, both tab hanging leads 9 are respectively cut off at the base of package 13. At this time, a pair of uneven side index parts 15, 16 are formed on the protrusions from package 13 at both tab hanging leads 9, 9 to be contained in a magazine 21. Through these procedures, the different size side index parts 15, 16 can be observed by the visual inspection of transparent magazine 21 to reduce the inspection man hours.
