<p>PURPOSE:To improve the stock state by driving an endless chain by a pair of sprockets which intermittently turn in the same direction independently by the separated driving devices and relatively shift in the connecting/disconnecting directions and storing articles under the chain between the both sprockets. CONSTITUTION:When an article transported by a feeding conveyor 2 operates a sensor 17, the second sprocket 14 turns in the direction of arrow by one pitch of the blade of a chain 12, and the article is taken onto the chain 12. Since the tension of the chain 12 between the first and second sprockets 13 and 14 is reduced by the shift of the chain 12, a transfer frame 15 is shifted leftward by one pitch by a cylinder not shown in the figure. When the article is discharged onto a discharge conveyor 3 by turning of the first sprocket 13, the transfer frame 15 shifts reversely rightward. Thus, the transfer frame shifts reversely in feed and discharge, and the tension of tile chain is kept constant, and the largest stock area can be maintained.</p> |
