PURPOSE:To improve the receiving efficiency of a custody shelf by providing a collecting table mechanism for receiving, if necessary, small lots of cut short materials from a transfer table on the side of the transfer table between a cutting device and a receiving table and after storing temporarily them transferring and supplying them onto the transfer table. CONSTITUTION:Small lots (called division lot) of the forefront materials from the first and second cut lots is received in a collection table mechanisms 11 and fills it. And the number of small lots following the second cut lot is detected and the division lot on the mechanism 11 and a division lot from the third cut lot are transferred to a table 7 when the table 7 is emptied and the small lots are less than 3 lots. The 3 lots are delivered as a medium lot. also, said small lots less than 3 lots are temporarily stored in the mechanism 11 to be delivered from the table 7 together with the following small lot. Thus, the division lot and small lot can be separately collected and delivered and the receiving efficiency of a custody shelf can be improved.
