<p>A collating machine for printed sheets includes feeding stations arranged in a row and a collecting conveyor comprising a supporting table and a continuous conveying chain with carriers which push the printed sheets on the table in front of them. Holding-up elements (6) which run synchronously with the conveying chain (4) and which are situated at a short distance from the front edges of the printed sheets (1a) abutting on the carriers (3) are assigned to each of the carriers (3). In this design, the holding-up elements (6) have been arranged on a separate chain (5) and the distance between the carriers (3) and the holding-up elements (6) can be adjusted by displacement of the chains (4 and 5) in relation to one another. <IMAGE></p> |
