A drainage trap comprises an inlet part 1, a discharge pipe 2 protruding sideways from the inlet part and a damming wall 5 forming part of the inlet part and mounted between a dip plate 4 and the discharge pipe. In order to provide by simple means at a low-built drainage trap of the above type, that the trap gets a good through-flow capacity and becomes stable and easy to manufacture, the damming wall 5 comprises or consists of an outflow portion 7 sloping downwardly towards the discharge pipe 2. <IMAGE> |
