PURPOSE:To positively display a range finding range by varying the brightness or the hue, etc., of the range finding range and the visual field of a finder other than the range finding range, when an object is range found. CONSTITUTION:When a switch SW1 is turned ON, a pulse is inputted as the set signal of a flip-flop 29 through a transistor TR1 and a one-shot circuit 26, and an (H) level is outputted. Therefore, since the output of an inverter IN goes to an (L) level, and an LCD driver 27 is driven, and only the range finding range 9 is set at a light transmission state, incident light from a diffusion plate 15 transmits a beam of light other than a range finding point 9. Next, a mirror reflects only, for example, a yellow beam of light, and when it is reflected again on a half mirror 12, it is superimposed on the visual field light of the range finder inputted from an objective lens 11, and as for a photographing visual field observed from an ocular, a part other than the range finding point 9 can be seen as color tinged with yellow, and a photographer can judge whether range finding point catches the object or not. Then, by depressing the SW1 again, the range finding of the object can be performed by a driving circuit 30.
