After the pressing operation is completed after the lapse of a prescribed time from the start of the pressing of the cleaning blade 21, the operations of the main motor, the suction fan, and the blow fan, etc., are started simultaneously. Thus, the main motor, the suction fan, and the blow fan are operated simultaneously by completing the pressing for the image carrier 10 of the cleaning blade 21, then copying is performed.
