PURPOSE:To improve paper handling, by making a print onto a paper based on a signal fed from a paper end detection sensor then discharging the paper into a stacker thereafter lowering the stacker to a paper take out position. CONSTITUTION:When a paper end detection sensor 2 detects that the paper has run out, a control section 1 controls to make a print onto a paper under printing and an automatic carrying control circuit 21 operates a carrying section 8 and a pull roller 10 for predetermined time so as to discharge the final paper into a stacker. Then, an automatic stacker motion control circuit 22 drives a stacker control section 4 through a table drive motor 5 so as to lower a stacker table which is stopped upon detection of a paper take out sensor 3 thus enabling take out of a printed paper. In such a manner, paper handling can be improved.
