The unsprung agricultural vehicle has a chassis (1) on each side of which a balance beam (3) pivots on a central pivot point (2). The balance beams (3) connect the two rear axles (4,5) with one axle mounted at each end of the beam (3). Each axle (4,5) further linked to a tension bar (6) and a compression bar (7) which absorb the acceleration and deceleration moments. One axle (4) is connected as a cross connector by a further long guide bar to the vehicle chassis (1). USE/ADVANTAGE - Balance bar suspension system. Improves the distribution of vehicle weight on the rear wheels relative to the ground conditions.
