In the smelting method of zinc and sulphur from zinc sulfide (ZnS), pref. zinc stream and sulphur stream are dissociated from zinc sulfide ore by using the heat source of about 3000 deg.C proceeded from electric arc device or plasma jet. Next, zinc and sulphur are separated from the dissociated streams by high speed centrifugal separator of 4000-5000 rpm. The advantage is a simplicity of the manufacturing process and a curtailment of the manufacturing cost.
