PURPOSE:To obtain excellent low-temp. fixability and offset resistance and to expand a practicable fixable temp. range by incorporating nonlinear polyester having a long chain aliphat. hydrocarbon unit at the main chain and/or side chain and wax into the titled toner. CONSTITUTION:This capsule toner has meltable core material particles and the shells consisting of a thermoplastic resin so provided as to coat the surface of the core material particles. The nonlinear polyester which is the nonlinear polyester obtd. by condensation polymn. of monomer components contg. a dihydric alcohol monomer and divalent carboxylic acid monomer and trihydric or higher alcohol monomer and/or trivalent or higher carboxylic acid monomer and has the long chain aliphat. hydrocarbon unit at the main chain and/or side chain thereof and the wax are incorporated into the meltable core material particles. The viscoelasticity of the toner when melted is, therefore, adjusted to an adequate size by the nonliearization, by which the transfer of the toner material to a heat roller of a heat roller fixing device is hardly generated and the excellent offset resistance is obtd. |
