PURPOSE:To accurately perform adjustment work, in operating an adjusting knob for setting a signal in two-point measurement, by allowing a fixed measuring element to act in the direction closely contacting a work. CONSTITUTION:A spring 28 acts on a press plate 23 and imparts energizing force in a direction drawing a plunger 24 into a main body in a free state. Therefore, the press plate 23 acts so as to always push in a switch 26 and, when force is applied in a direction drawing out the plunger 24, the press plate 23 moves downwardly and separates from the switch 26 to emit a signal. Further, the movable measuring element 30 provided to the lower end of the plunger 24 is always closely in contact with a work 33 in the direction of pushing up the work 33 and, even when a signal point adjusting knob 14 is operated by the setting of a signal point, a measuring element 29 is not separated from the work 33 and adjustment can be performed in a stable state. Furthermore, a lever ratio is always held to 1:1, and the signal point can be accurately set by the reading of one limit master and a dial gauge.
