PURPOSE:To reduce the buckling quantity of a printing wire in the lateral direction and to prevent the expanse of a guide hole due to friction, by providing a guide block equipped with slits receiving one row of printing wires between guide plates. CONSTITUTION:Two rows of guide holes 24b, 24c are provided to the guide plates 13b, 13c in a zigzag pattern on the side of a printing end and a guide block 26, for example, made of a synthetic resin material equipped with two rows of slits 25a, 25b opened is inserted between both guide plates 13b, 13c in the direction shown by an arrow A. Since two rows of the printing wires 10 are respectively received in the slits 25a, 25b of the guide block 26 at every row, even when the printing wires 10 generate buckling in the lateral direction, the buckling is properly suppressed by the side surfaces of the slits and the guide holes 24b, 24c are prevented from being expanded by friction and the durability of the printing wires 10 is enhanced. |
