PURPOSE:To eliminate the need of wiping-up work by pressing a frame of an air filter to a mount surface through a non-drying pressure sensitive adhesive material and then removing the non-drying pressure sensitive adhesive material leaked out to the air discharge opening side with an adhesive tape. CONSTITUTION:A tape 15 is previously stuck to the periphery of the inner surface 2A of a frame 2. On the other hand, a tape 16 is previously stuck to the periphery of the inner surface 7A of an air discharge opening 7. Subsequent ly a non-drying pressure sensitive adhesive material 14 is continuously applied to the periphery of a mount surface 6A, and the fitting surface 5A is pressed to the mount surface 6A. Though the non-drying pressure sensitive adhesive material 14 is squashed to leak out towards the outside of a flange 5 and the air discharge opening 7, the non-drying pressure sensitive adhesive material 14A can be removed with the tapes 15, 16 by stripping off the tapes 15, 16.
