PURPOSE:To efficiently work the end part of works without necessitating uniformization of work lengths by imposing the works on a pushing bar provided on a moving base so that a projection contacts a pusher pawl and inclines the pawl and advancing the push bar by driving a pusher cylinder. CONSTITUTION:The pusher cylinder 80 is extended to put the push bar at the return limit. The work is imposed on an upper plate 67b thereof. A pin 77 contacts the right end of a long hole 76 and the projection 79 of the push bar 67 contacts the contact part 74 of the pusher pawl 70 to incline the pawl 70. The cylinder 80 is then driven to advance the bar 67. A hook 79 advances to the lower side in the weight part of the pawl and locks the pawl in the inclined state when the bar arrives at an idle stroke. The pushed work is gripped by a work chucking mechanism and is subjected to working on one side.
