PURPOSE:To contrive the improvement of the performance of fashion and game machine by outputting a dial confirming signal having a different musical scale corresponding to a dial number. CONSTITUTION:When dial information in response to the operated dial number from a dial operation section 10 is supplied from a dial information control section 20, a melody sending section 30 outputs a confirming signal having a different musical scale according to the dial number. Then the confirming signal is converted into an acoustic signal by a calling circuit section 40 and a speaker 50 and a sound melody is sent in response to the dial number. Thus, the performance of fashion and game machine of the telephone set is enhanced.
