PURPOSE:To easily form the turbular body in special form of a hexagon, etc., by fitting a circular tubular body into a die and pushing the punch having a specific external shape into the hole of a circular tubular body. CONSTITUTION:A flange 2 is formed at one end of a circular bar like body 1 and a circular hole 3 is made up to the position of about half-2/3 from the flange 2 side. The circular hole 4 with slightly smaller diameter than that of the hole 3 is then formed from the end part at the opposite side. The formed circular tubular body 7 is inserted into the die having the hole 8 whose inner diameter is formed in a hexagon, etc., and a punch 6 is pushed into the hole 3 of the tubular body 7. The punch 6 is taken as being equipped with the small diameter part 9 penetrating the holes 3, 4 of the tubular body 7 and the main body part 10 formed smaller than the hole 8 but larger than the hole 3 and yet in a hexagon, etc., at the tip part. With this method, the special tubular body in the necessary shape of a hexagon, etc., can easily be formed from a circular tubular body with a simple work.
