PURPOSE:To effectively perform air conditioning while maintaining the reliability and safety of OA equipment in the air conditioned area by causing the thermal medium in a heat storing tank to exchange heat with refrigerant outside the air conditioned area in a building, and transferring heat absorbed by said refrigerant into the air conditioned area by a natural circulation system. CONSTITUTION:In the present heat storage type air conditioning system, the thermal medium 1a in a heat storing tank 1 is delivered to a condenser 5 disposed in a water piping area a2OMEGA outside the air conditioned area a, of a building A through a forced circulation line 8, and heat is given from the thermal medium 1a to refrigerant by the heat exchange in the condenser 5. The heat so given to the refrigerant is transferred to an evaporator 9 in the air conditioned area a1 through a separate naturally circulated refrigerant circuit 12 (refrigerant line). That is, the water piping is not routed through the air conditioned area a1. Therefore, OA equipment can be installed in the air conditioned area a1 without any problem, and its reliability and safety are ensured.
