PURPOSE:To reduce a manufacturing cost by drawing the fitting part having a rise boss part by using a transfer press, then, press-fitting the bar like part of a shaft, etc., into the boss part. CONSTITUTION:The blank 2 blanked from a plate stock is subjected to drawing by the upper and lower dies of a transfer press to form a cylindrical container product 3. A flange 3a is then formed, and a bulging piece part 4a and rise part 5b in a boss part, and stepped part 5a are integrally formed via the respective upper and lower die. Then, after removing the flange 3a, a hole 10 is opened on the boss rise part 5b and a fitting part 9 and shaft are joined by press-fitting the bar like part of a shaft, etc., into the hole 10. Since sufficient strength and thickness can be secured on the boss part in the forming stage a bush, etc., by machining become unnecessary and the production cost to fix the fitting part 9, shaft, etc., is reduced.
