PURPOSE:To shorten a transmission time by coupling serial transmission registers respectively corresponding to a service processor and an objective device with bidirectional serial interfaces and storing data stored in the registers directly in the corresponding registers. CONSTITUTION:Control information for a check control circuit 21 in the service processor 20 is stored in a control information register 3, data information is stored in a data information register 4 and transmission gate circuits 7, 8 are set up in a data transmission direction. Namely, gates 7A, 8A are opened and gates 7B, 8B are closed. On the other hand, transmission gate circuits 5, 6 in the device 10 to be checked are set up in a receiving direction. Namely, gates 5A, 6A are opened and gates 5B, 6B are closed. When transmission processing is started under said status, the contents of registers 1-4 are shifted by the prescribed number of bits and the contents of the register 3, 4 are stored in a register 12 through connection lines C1, C2. |
