PURPOSE:To obtain an extremely high operating efficiency by supplying a raw material of metallic atom to a crucible in a separation cell with a raw material supplying device and by projecting laser light to an atom beam radiated from the heated raw material. CONSTITUTION:A raw material supplying mechanism 20 consisting of a receiving part 21 which receives plural raw material pellet 2' is provided in the separation cell 1. When a push rod 23 is reciprocated by a driving mechanism 24, one or plural pellets 2' of the raw material in the receiving part 21 are pushed out from the lower part of the front row by the top end of the rod, and are dropped from the top end of a guide 22 into the crucible 3. Consequently, it is not necessary to break vacuum of the separation cell 1 when the pellets 2' of the raw material are supplied into the crucible 3, and the operation rate of the plant is improved.
