发明名称 FUSED CARBONATE TYPE FUEL CELL
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a stable voltage with a starting time shorten and voltage variations eliminated even in the case where load variations arise in operation by composing a negative electrode by a porous body of a hydrogen absorbing alloy. CONSTITUTION:A negative electrode 4 is composed of a porous body of a hydrogen absorbing alloy in a fused carbonate type fuel cell arranged a positive electrode 2 and a negative electrode 4 on both sides of an electrolyte plate 3 including fused carbonate as electrolyte. This enables hydrogen to be blown off by rising temperatures of a cell body to at 600-700 deg.C at the time of starting as hydrogen is occluded and stored in the negative electrode of the fuel cell in a standing duration. Then an electrode reaction of hydrogen oxidation arises immediately in the negative electrode and a given voltage is generated, thereby the starting time can be shortened not affected by a reforming reaction speed even if the speed is slow. And when the load increased rapidly in operation, a voltage can stably be maintained without a voltage drop by compensating a shortage by the blowout of the occluded hydrogen it the increase of the reforming reaction quantity which makes the hydrogen supply quantity to the negative electrode to increase does not meet the requirements.
