发明名称 COMBUSTION METHOD IN FURNACE
摘要 PURPOSE:To realize a low air ratio combustion using a conventional burner, by providing a catalyst to promote combustion on the inlet side of a flue and by specifying the air ratio, in a method of combustion in a furnace in which an object to be heated, being set in the furnace, is heated by a combustion burner, and the heat of exhaust gas is recovered in the flue. CONSTITUTION:An object to be heated 2 is set in a combustion furnace 1, and the object 2 is heated by a combustion burner 3. A catalyst 5 is provided at the inlet of a flue 4 to promote combustion of unburnt gas, and the heat of exhaust gas is recovered by a heat exchanger 6. In the combustion burner 3, an excess air ratio (Q1/Q2) is to be determined as '1' when logical air flow rate to feed fuel is 'Q2', and the flow rate of actual feed air is 'Q1'. In combustion by a conventional burner 3 that is the burner in which fuel and air are separately fed into a combustion space at high velocity, unburnt gas and unreacted oxygen are produced when an excess air ratio is determined as '1'. However if high temperature is kept in unburnt combustion gas, the gas and the oxygen gradually react on each other to cause them burning. Therefore low excess air ratio combustion is logically possible if the length of a furnace body and that of a flue are very long.
