PURPOSE:To vaporize fuel enough and to burn it well even using a fuel of which vaporizing temperature is high, by controlling a vaporizer for fuel by detecting the state of combustion of fuel by a signal from a flame sensor which is provided to a burner. CONSTITUTION:An electronic controller 6 controls a fuel pump 45 to supply fuel, controlling a combustion blower 41 to feed combustion air to activate combustion in a burner 4. It processes those operation data and checks a signal 'RF' from a flame sensor 44 when a combustion time 'ts', that is the time during which the burner 4 is performing combustion, does not reach a predetermined time 't'. The signal 'RF' from the flame sensor 44 corresponding to the inside temperature of a burner 4 is compared with a reference temperature 'R0'. The combustion in the burner is high and vaporization of fuel is easy when the value of a signal 'RF' is high, so that a vaporizing glow plug 42 is deenergized. But when the signal 'RF' is lower than 'R0', the vaporizing glow plug 42 is energized in order to activate combustion by promoting vaporization of fuel. After that the signal 'RF' from the flame sensor 44 is compared with the reference value 'R0', and an abnormal signal is output where the result of comparison is not RF>R0. |
