PURPOSE:To maintain a die plate at a uniform temperature by providing a heat medium reservoir on a die plate to allow the heat medium to flow in and out, and also providing a heater. CONSTITUTION:A granulating device is equipped with a die plate 3 provided with extrusion holes 2 to extrude plasticized molten substance and cutters 4 to slide and rotate around outlet faces 3a of the extrusion holes 2 and cut strands extruded, and a heat medium reservoir 3d provided with a flow inlet 3b and a flow outlet 3c for allowing the heat medium to flow in and out and heater 5 to heat up the die plate are installed on the die plate 3. Properly heated heat medium flows from the flow inlet 3b into the heat medium reservoir 3d, heats up the die plate 3 and is discharged out of the flow outlet 3c. On the other hand, the die plate 3 is further heated up by the heater 5 uniformly up to a high temperature. |
